Where does this bolt go leftover?

I had to install a parking pawl in my 727 since the rebuilder left it out.  Initially I had removed the tail shaft housing to see what else may have been missing and the reinstalled it.  I took off the valve body and put in the pawl. At the end if the install I see I have a 1/4 x 7/16" bolt with a beveled washer leftover. Similar to the pan bolts.  I don't remember taking one out or see where it might go but it's not painted so I don't believe it's from the outside  :shruggy:.  Shot in the dark but any ideas?

I'd Google pics of Mopar 727 valve body and other terms to look for clues?  :scratchchin:

I did before I asked here and I couldn't see anything like it. I took the pan off again to compare to the pictures.  Ooh well I'm hoping it was an extra stuck to the bowl magnet.  Reckon I'll find out when I fire it up again if I messed up.

So if your like me, if you knew where it went, you wouldn't recall where you put it down the day before.  Is it all shiny like new or a bit exposed patina looking?  :scratchchin:

My problem is when I take some stuff apart, I start off thinking it's going to be back togethor that evening or next day.  Then grandkids come over or somebody needs help with this or that, or something else needs doing besides what I want to do and it ends up being looked at a week later  :brickwall:.  The bolt is clean with a good black finish.  Best I remember I only took off what I needed to get the housing off and drop the valve body.

Given the piss off factor your dealing with while doing this repair could it have come with parts you bought, so possibly extra? One blessing for me is I bought the car from a friend who owns a tranny shop. His first car and eventually the company drag racer there is nothing I need to know about the transmission, just go see Steve. (He's the one who insisted I fix the factory linkage for the kick down.)

Since the trans builder left a part out, he put in an extra one to make up for it.  :smilielol:
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.
