So my friend trimmed his tree and voila!

I hope the town has a sense of humor.

WINGIN IT

Looks great, I'd be more concerned with someone defacing or stealing it.

cudavic

Well the good thing is that in order to steal it they would have to bring a chain saw as it really was a full grown tree.
Here is a teaser shot when it was still an intact tree seen in the far left side of the frame.
Yes, someone vandalizing it is still a concern. Sincerely Vic

Your friend has some skills!

depends on where you live...there is a "close encounters" alien carving near me and its been there for 15 years, at least.

ws23rt

I like it.  Damn those that may think cutting the tree low and stump grinding would be better. :nana:

He needs to start growing a Coyote tree to match. Pretty cool.

Nice Quarttro-valvole there!

cudavic

Thanks for the compliment on the Countach, however it is not a Quattrovalvole it is an 84 model year, the last of the 2-valve side drafts.
It is nice and surprising to have the car acknowledge here as I am a muscle car collector at heart, but swore up and down that if I could afford a Countach I would buy one some sunny day.
That sunny day came a little over 13 years ago. Then it broke and the dark clouds came in for a few years (a long and miserable story).
I am happy to say that the sun is shining on the Lambo again and it is functioning very well again.

There's no automobile more iconic than the Countach!, I thought it was a QV at first glance, then spied the engine cover and realized it was an 85 or older model, beautiful car

I know how "neighbors" can be with us guys with old cars/hotrods, how's the neighborhood "reception" over the "lawn ornament"?  :scratchchin:

I was the same way Lamborghini Countach on one wall and Farrah Fawcett on the other.
Now I have a handful of muscle cars and a Countach in the garage, however no Farrah Fawcett out there.
Probably a good thing as I do not believe my wife would tolerate it, she is understanding enough with the cars no need to push my luck.

gymratt30

I still have my Lamborghini poster...had to throw my Farrah Fawcett Poster away last year .(basement flooded.)
No worries, I feel as though I married her anyway!
(Or maybe her daughter. ..ha ha)
