74 Light switch removal

I have a 74 charger w/rally gauges, I would like to remove a good working light switch and place it in another dash that has no damage.
I have unscrewed the nut but how do I get the knob off the switch without defacing the switch?
Does it pull off or unscrew....I don't want to damage a good working switch I really need to get it off.
Can anyone get me through this...............

There is a little push button on top the switch. Push it down and pull your knob and stem out.
