Hi ,

Put in new ones , from Mopar , and my car actually seems lower. The old ones are crusty and crappy looking . Can't afford another pair. I was thinking of cheating... just a slightly longer shackle. Thought about making a set maybe 1" longer. Then I thought, make a new front hanger and lower the 'bolt' hole , then I thought split the lift , 1/2 in front and 1/2 in back , then I thought wouldn't I have to lengthen the shock???? TOO much thinkin'. Got a headache now....
The tire size looks perfect , except they rub on bumps. Thoughts? Suggestions? A winning lottery ticket?

Have them re-arched locally.

Thank you. Didn't even think about that. Let the car down and went straight to bummer city. What kind of shops do this ? Got a ballpark on price? Thanks again.

Since you now have 4 leaf packs springs at your disposal, add another leaf to you new spring pack. Ideally, you would take your old main leaf, cut the eyes off, and position it to run eye to eye center line under you new main leaf based on the mounting hole position. If you don't want to do all that cutting, then use one of the longest leafs from you old pack and put it under the main leaf in your new pack.

Lots of great ideas on this forum , would have never thought of that.

Found a local leaf spring shop , will call them Monday. Thanks , and Happy Fathers day.
