I'm having a hard time finding a documented drive shaft length for a 72 Charger, small block, 727, 8.75.  There are lots of lists out there with numbers for A & E bodies and limited B bodies.  I can't find anything on third gen Chargers.  I've found people saying a couple different lengths.  50.68" or 50.75".  Can anyone confirm?

The '72 Mopar Parts Catalog is really confusing on this subject, on the W cars (Coronet, Charger) they show different lengths using your specific info with 50.80" and 50.68" among them.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

Well I guess I'm going with the 50.68" number as I'm seeing that one more than others. Getting a custom shaft made so I need to get it ordered. I'm assuming these measurements are center to center, correct?

most places want you to measure yourself. because some cars run different pinion angles and so forth and can be different. but IMO if you order one based off of factory specs and the car wasn't modified it should be fine.
