Can't seem to figure out where this goes in the engine compartment?  This is for a 1969 Charger.

Thanks!

Lennard

Underneath the battery tray. Unfortunately I'm not smart enough to post a picture.

For what it may be worth I found the vacuum canister on my C500 mounted in front of the radiator support. :shruggy:

I know it makes no sense for it to be there since it was not needed for the C500 anyway.

I bypassed mine and my hideaways fly up faster than ever.

I do not have one on my car either with a large overlap cam and only 8" of vacuum. No issues here. Imo, only needed with power brake booster.

Hey Tuck, would you describe how you did that?  I'm pulling 16" of vacuum which may be too much for my switch to handle.  It won't open or close the doors with the engine running.  I'm hoping the brand new switch I bought isn't bad.  Thanks.

I just took the can out and bought a plastic connector to connect the hoses from the two places the went in the can. No problems so far!

Verify vaccum at the pods. Majority of the time its sticking door linkage over low vaccum.

Tuck...so you just unplug the 2 hoses from the canister and connect them together?

Yep. That's it. Works fine for me
