In recent years I've kind of grown tired of the same old stuff you run into when driving our old beasts.  Today I took the Charger out to run some errands.  When coming out of the store, I noticed a car parked right next to the Charger with a old fart like me in it.  I was expecting the standard, I had one just like it, my brother, cousin, uncle had one but it was a HEMI scenario.  This guy just said, "I hope you don't mind me looking at your car, it just takes me back to so much better times".  He was at the point of getting emotional.  When I started up the car to leave, there was a big yoot, yoot from some teenagers sitting on a pickup tailgate a ways away.  Our cars really still are so special.....

I was expecting to read that the old guy had dinged the door of your car!
I get the same reactions. Some people DO get the old car appeal, some do not.
