Rearend lube, tranny fluid

I was thinking of running Syn. 75W90 in my rear end.
have not checked to see if it is a locker on not. (Just pulled the car home)
any thoughts on that?
Also, any thoughts about running Dextron VI in my torqflite?

I've been running AMSOIL 75W90 (synthetic) in my 8.75 w/ TrueTrac and it's been great. Most diff fluids today already contain the friction modifiers needed for LSDs.
