Been trying to get hold of her, not having much luck.

Heard anything yet? I know this was quite a while ago...

I never had a problem communicating with her via email.....

Jduv10007

Sometimes it has taken a day or so but She is normally really good at getting back to me. I would try and reach out to her again. I know she has a lot of work going on and might have missed your email. Her and her husband have helped me out a lot.

rikubot

That's reassuring. I'll giver her a call tomorrow on my way to work. Thanks guys!

I had an issue with her, she wouldn't return my calls. It took 6-7 months for her to return two 69 3 speed wiper motors ... I was not impressed

I've had a tough year this year.  Sorry but sometimes life hits you hard.  I don't like to put my personal life out in public but I care for an elderly estranged mother with dementia and Parkinsons and she's not had a good year this past year with her health.  I don't think I'll have her around alot longer, she gave me 18 years of her life and I feel like I owe her the same even though she rarely knows who I am.  I got sick from running myself thin then  hurricane came through and the shop and equipment sustained fairly considerable damage, but all in all it could've been much worse, so I consider myself blessed.  During the cleanup from the hurricane my younger sister had a stroke and her high BP from that has damaged her kidneys and now I'm attempting to help her when she needs to be taken to appointments/tests, etc.  Sometimes I don't get back here until a time when it's too late to call and I'm probably not in the best  frame of mind to speak with anyone.  I at least like to think I know when NOT to fire my mouth and attitude off at someone because  the overwhelming events happening in my life are certainly no one else's fault.

Two weeks ago when I came back from three appointments and labs with my sister I wasn't home long enough to have a cup of coffee and get my sister home when my service dog ran in bleeding profusely and I had to immediately load him up and take him for surgery....someone sliced him at the fence by the shop.   Hell, when I look at this past year and the events against me I can sometimes giggle and say to myself "you couldn't MAKE this stuff up"...

Email is always the easiest way to contact me.  I'm a one person operation and I'm not always near a phone, but I do check emails on my cell when I take breaks and I do try to return phone calls.  I've answered the phone all week this week because my sister's appointments right now are not to fast and furious and emergency in nature.  I put 27 motors out in September, I've put 13 out in the last two weeks, so I'm getting back to what I'd like to see from me.

I apologize to all I've let down, to anyone I've disappointed and all I can do is extend my sincerest apologies for being in over my head with everything going on around me and attempt redeem myself the best way I can.  I'm human, not perfect and certainly dancing as fast as I can with the chaos around me.

Wishing you all the strength and perseverance to cope with your situation.

Lennard

I'm sorry to hear about all your troubles and I hope that things will get better for you soon. And I hope that the person who cut your dog will rot in hell.

Damn Kim that's a rough go at it. Here's to hoping a better turn of events for you to end out the year and to extend thru next year.

Happy Thanksgiving.

How's your baby doing?

Doing good, working hard and very vocal about his displeasure today at starting work again at 4 a.m.  LOL  But it's stuff he has to learn in his service dog work.  He's ill at ease in total dark and in fog, so we start when those are the conditions so he's more exposed to it and more comfortable with it.  Can't have him get skittish and freak and take his handler down  LOL

Healing looks good, no nerve damage, which we were worried about considering the cut was to the bone, muscle is still healing.  Thanks for asking!  Sister is able to drive herself again  YAY!!  That's a beautiful thing for Thanksgiving.  Her swelling is slowly going down and she can stand and walk again without help.  Kidney function is still at 30-40%, but we have an appointment with another specialist on the 14th of December so he may go with temp dialysis for awhile and see if that brings the swelling down to normal, allows her kidneys to rest and attempt to repair, but I'm not having to leave several times a week for appointments with her now      :2thumbs:

cavemanno1

Wow,I wish you all the best!God never gives us more then we can bare so just keep at it!
Family first and I'm sure people are understanding it!

That cut looked bad, glad to hear she's doing better.

I am Kim's mother and she does not take care of me - I do not have dementia or Parkinsons - I have not seen Kim in several years - I sued her a few years ago for money she stole from me - the court awarded me $10,919 but Kim has not paid.  She lies and steals so be very careful if you do business with her.

Louise,

Do you have any information to pass along about Jerry Schmidt?

He recently screwed me on plating some of my parts and in order to get them back I had to pay a lot to get them..

I can only speak for my own experience but my stuff arrived there nov 28 and I had it back in hand December 24th and am very happy with my experience.  :shruggy:

I've had many dealings with Kim over the last several years and she and Jerry have always been absolutely helpful and more than willing to work with me on my projects. Everything I've received from them has been of excellent quality and I think she's a great gal.  :Twocents:

Times have changed.....It is not like the past....But the truth will come out!

My last motor was in her shop on March 19, 2016 and in my hands on first week of 9/2016..Do the math almost 6 months?  With many lengthy emails with excuses for the delay....However, when I got it, it was beautiful as always! :2thumbs:

Jerry is a separate issue and people should know the truth.....Same thing.  I have all the communications via email and text that will shine a big light as to the type of individual he really is.....And not some newly signed up members experience or some age old members experience that had parts done eons ago. I had parts done eons ago by him and had no problems but now is different.....Another forum has people with the same issues as mine discussing this.....

HANDM

Quality of work and quality of person are two seperate things although usually the quality or lack thereof of a person will eventually come through.....

I sent mine to Bill Meerholz at http://www.bmcuda.com about 2 weeks ago & he just sent me these pictures last evening of the finished product. No muss, fuss, drama or waiting months on end....

Is the barrel plated or painted. It is hard to tell.... :shruggy:

Restored wiper motors always look great,  but why does it have to cost $250 - $300 ?

I'll send you a few (4-5) that I need done right away, how about $50 each? that's pretty generous?, but they got to look like I spent about $300+ each on them, plus work like new too!

:icon_smile_cool: I have seen some that look more like a yellow dichromate type of plating. I would like to have mine be a "correct" finish.. :yesnod: thanks for your reply.

Yeah,  that totally explains why the restoration of a part that is the size of my hand needs to cost $300. :blahblah:

She's had my motor since January 13th and told me the turnaround time was running 14 days. 6 weeks later, no motor and she hasn't responded to my latest inquiry from last week....

It's so nice to have a 2 speed wiper.
Especially when it's hooked up to an intermittent control box.   :2thumbs:

Word to the wise to anyone thinking of getting a motor restored by this individual.....

On 3/12/16 I sent my original motor to Kim for restoration of that motor.  On 8/27/16 the motor was shipped back to me.  Meanwhile this was after countless emails, phone calls, long wasted babbling conversations, excuses.  Got the motor looked good(at least what I initially thought) and packed it away.

Time goes by and I had some dealing with an Ex partner of hers and that deal went South!  That prick Jerry Schmidt, Concours Creations damaged my parts, some beyond repair and I had to pay hefty to get those parts back.  Subsequently, those parts had to be sent to another place for what they should have got it the first place.

After, that it got me thinking about these two and especially her.....So I decided to take the motor apart...

The internals had glass beads throughout.  The end cap was painted not plated and had a gap at the end, so it was not fitted back up properly.  A little lacquer thinner wiped the paint off.  The main casing which is cast was painted as well and a little thinner wiped it off also...

I have pictures of all of this but I don't do photobucket so I cannot post them.  I will link a thread from another forum that has the photos attached.

345.00 plus shipping down the tubes for the restoration of my original motor.....

Guys BEWARE!

Years ago, Kim did a great job on my two speed wiper, as far as I knew. I got it back in a reasonable amount of time and it went back in the shipping box, pending working on the firewall and the wiring. Even after it was mounted, testing it had to wait until the instrument pod was installed, to make an end to end electrical connection. When I tested the wipers just last week, the motor sounded like a door in a haunted house, even after the arms were disconnected.

I was just about to call her to return it, and now all this.   :flame:

It appears that Bill Meerholtz does only three speed motors. AAAAAHHHHHHHHH!   :brickwall:

Just received this picture from Kim. She's finishing it up as soon as it dries and is replacing the bulkhead connector and adding the missing pigtail connector for free. Funny thing is, my car should never even see rain.
Fingers crossed!

Looks like the other areas got paint also :eek2:  It is not what is visible is the only problem...

I would do a complete inspection...

I took a chance on Kim from Passion4Mopars BIG MISTAKE!  I know this is an old thread, but lets jump to 03/06/2018, my 69 charger came with a nice 3 speed motor, but since I am restoring the car I thought hey lets get the wiper motor restored since they don't make reman 3 speed motors.. MANY MANY emails and phone calls MANY MANY excuses and here we are 07/31/2019 and still no motor. I know sht happens and people have stuff happen to them that may mess up their work and delay when they can finish the job they were hired to do, I get that.. and I heard a lot from Kim about the stuff she was going through but 18 MONTHS! and now she isn't responding to my emails so i filed a complaint with BBB if that will do anything.. If not I hope the next person researching where to send their Mopar B-body 3 speed wiper motor finds this and reads the following " WHAT EVER YOU DO, DO NOT SEND YOUR MOTOR TO KIM FROM PASSION4MOPARS CAUSE YOU WILL NEVER SEE IT AGAIN GO ANYWHER ELSE WITH IT!!!"  hell for all i know she sold my motor to someone else and made $400 or more on it free and clear.

Mopar Nut

I heard she's going by a different name/company and moved out of Florida.

A friend of mine sent her two wiper motors and paid her ,and got a box full of broken unusable junk back from her. He said and I quote "I hope I never see her in person, I'm not sure what I would do if I did ".

Lennard

I don't understand that people are still sending their wiper motor to her. There are lots of threads on the world wide web from unhappy customers.

krops cars

I sent mine to her. I had to fallow up a lot. It didn't work right. She told me to tap on it and that will seat the armature. It now works, but I have not had mine out in the rain yet. It ism like everything lawnmower, cars, trucks, boats, chain saws and other power equipment. Learn to fix them yourself. There is always someone ready to ;let you down with the shit work they do.
