Edelbrock Pro Flo 4 owners. What are you using for 727 kickdown? 4150 style throttle body.

I think your only options are the Bouchillon or Lokar setups. Everything else won't clear the fuel rails or work with the taller intake.

Thanks Clayton! Are you running the Pro Flo?

I'm building a setup using the holley terminator x software but have the same intake and fuel rails as the pro flo. So I'm in the same boat not being able to use the stock kickdown. I have the bouchillon setup on my duster and it works pretty good so I'll probably get another one for the charger.

I got a little sidetracked on it though so the parts have just been sitting. I just need to get the injectors and distributor and then I can start the install. holley efi 101.jpg

Nice! I'll get the Bouchillon setup then. Did you use this for throttle cable? https://www.bouchillonperformance.com/inc/sdetail/5334

Shich teminds me. I need a longer throttle cable!

What are you going to use for an air cleaner? There is very little space under the stock hood.

I thought when I bought mine that bracket came with the kickdown kit? Guess they changed it but that is the bracket I used.

My air cleaner will still fit (it better!). Luckily the throttle body is an inch shorter to make up for the 1" taller intake. I wanted to use a different throttle body that Holley offered but needed the shorter height. So the air cleaner height should be the same as it is now. How tall is the edelbrock throttle body?

Oh I see. You won't have an issue then. I need the biggest drop base I can find. The throttle body is 2.530" tall. I bought a Spectre 771 cold air intake with a plenum that is 2.4" tall from the throttle body flange and it's too tall to close the hood. Frustrating. I should have taken a stock intake manifold and have it drilled for injectors.

How bad is it hitting? I've seen a few with a drop base but maybe they it didn't fit as well as they said?

I used to have this Spectre setup years ago but it is 1/2" shorter than the one one you have. Maybe that'll be enough to clear.

Hmm that may be enough yes. It's only the front part that hits the hood so that may do it. Hopefully I can get mine sold. It's just sitting here.

Here's a shot of the brackets.

Thank you!

If I understand correctly, the kickdown cable needs between 1-1/8" and 1-1/4" travel. Do I just take the slack out of the cable before measuring travel? My throttle bracket is different. I have the same Bouchillon adapter, plus the 1481, so I'm sure I can rig something up.
