So I'm looking at the hood on my 70 today and it dawns on me..."hey those indents match the ones on the doors."

Only took me about 35 years to notice this.

Don't feel bad...I've never noticed it also! Too busy looking at the lines of the car....   :icon_smile_wink:

At least you didn't call them scoops. That would REALLY be dumb.   :nana:

Actually the ones on the hood are quite a bit larger, but... uh, good effort. Remember, we are proud of you just the way you are   :pity:  ;)

Hell as long as I have been doing this I didn't realize until very recent that a 73 charger hood is different then a 74 ( no vents by wipers )  :smilielol: I also did not know the trunk lids were different on a 72-73 ( key hole size )  :eek2:

I don't know how to post a darn pic on here but has anyone noticed on the newest challengers with the flat black hood treatment is a perfect looking giant T-shirt , one guy was like thanks you ruined it now it bugs the crap out of me !  :icon_smile_big:

They turned the scoops around from the quarter panel on the 66-67 and put it on the door for 2nd gens.

I like it !    ;D

In my defense I've only owned a Charger about 2 years....all a-bodies and other stuff previously.

Note to self: never again.
