Ah yes... that's where I meant to post it. I know if you put it in the for sale section people can't reply.

For asking 34 thousand dollars the seller better list everything about that car otherwise offers won't come close to the asking price.

If they chose to cut corners on the $300 proper looking Phoenix Graphics decal kit, who knows what is going on where real money is concerned. Missing trim, rust around the rear glass..it need to be done right.

Homerr

Offensive to both Charger purists and GL people!

Maybe the car was an older build.  Plenty of details about it look like they could date back to the 1990s, or even the late 1980s.

That hood is absolutely hideous on that Charger. Again why do folks do this to an iconic muscle car that already has a beautifully designed hood that rolled off the assembly line.

Oh and nice rear windshield trim.  :smilielol: :smilielol: :smilielol:

At what point does a GL replica become just a Charger that's been painted orange with some sub standard stickers? I think the seller just answered that question. With the wrong wheels, hood, no push bar etc etc....it's a (badly done and expensive) nod towards the DOH.....no more.
If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you !!

There weren't always "standard stickers" available.  Plenty of GL replicas in the 1980s and 1990s were painted by looking at die-cast GL toys as the only decent reference source.  It produced mediocre accuracy at best.

20+ years ago the whole GL hobby was not as developed.  Even the basic stuff, like the interior being tan, or the # of spokes on the wheels, or the fact that it always had a pushbar in the show . . . the info just wasn't readily available like it is now.  I mean, what year was the car?  People wrote to Mopar magazines asking basic stuff like that.

VegasCharger

Still no excuse for that crappy hood.  :eek2:
