Hello fellow mopar enthusiasts.

I am in need of upper ball joints and outer tie rods on my '69. I know some brands are a lot better than others, so I'd love to hear some recommendations and favorite places to buy. Thanks in advance guys

I just ordered Moog from Summit Racing. They matched Rock Auto pricing and 90% of the parts were USA Moog, a few parts were Mexico. Moog is still one of the best you can get, even if they produce globally.

I agree with Moog, it is what I'm using for my front end rebuild.

I just rebuilt my front end with moog stuff too.

Getting that rubber boot on the uppers was impossible. I tried every trick I could think of and eventually took a dremel to take some of the coating off the inside of the metal ring.

Looks like I can get two upper ball joints and two outer tie rod ends on Summit for 125. Is that a decent price? Shipped too.

Yeah hard to beat summit or jegs.  You may as well replace your lowers while you are at it. No?

I probably should have. But shoot, $125 was a little bit of a stretch for me right now. If I get an alignment after I put these parts in, I won't be messing anything up that they adjust when I put the lower ones in, will I?

I wouldn't think so on just doing the lowers.

It's the tie rod lenght and control arm height that will get ya.

How is your alignment now?
I did uppers/lowers and tie rods all at once and it didnt seem like much changed as far as alignment. I just made sure to get my tie rods the same length.

That's what I was guessin. Right now she pulls a little to the right, but the tire wear seems pretty even. Although, I don't think I've driven enough to actually put any wear on my new tires yet haha
