I remember it looking slightly different in the really old pictures. The grill was "modded" at the time or something?  :shruggy:

Have a sense of history.  Leave this green car as-is.

Not every old custom should be preserved.  But this one was a perfect classic example of the era, it's well known, and it's in great shape.

Mostly stock 2nd-gen Chargers are more expensive than rare.  Go shopping with a blank check and you can find dozens of them for sale any time you want.

:iagree: too...there are some nice examples of custom jobs from yesteryear that have survived & I'm glad they haven't been stripped of that part of their history. Like this Daytona, for example, which I believe is still wearing it's paint job from the period...

Now, this one I have no problem returning back to stock.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Glad to see the Beachcomber alive and well and not converted back to stock like a bunch of people here wanted...   :Twocents:

Some interesting 70 custom cars there.....some I like (the purple one with the flamed roof and the rainbow arches (fenders!) is cool)....some I'm not so keen on (the spoiler on the red flamed one??...well what can I say. I'm a child of the 70s and would have laughed at that back then)!

Deache nice collection, Thanks. Anybody know why the Photos in "Reply #29", photo #1 of the 69' and #18 of the 68' has the side markers up on the sides higher?
Edit: The 68 may have been my eyes :slap:

I don't know about the '68. But on the '70, I would guess that the owner decided the lights would look better in the middle of the body line. :shruggy: It does look kinda funky.

Sublime/Sixpack

Those photos were fun to look at, but . . . . . . . . . some things are better left alone.  :o :yesnod:
