group 27 battery

hello all just wondering why i cant get a group 27 red cap battery topper i know you can get the group 24 type from year one would there not be more demand for the full size battery topper    does anyone know of anyone making these

I cut one of my old ones and made mine it's not that bad take your time and be careful of the battery acid

All the reasonably priced ones seem to have dried up. I believe I got mine last year from Summit.
Mancini may have some left. Otherwise Antique auto battery in Youngstown Ohio. I had a bad experience with them so be warned. Having said that, their battery lasted me 7 years, long story.
Otherwise if you can wait for Carlisle, they will B all over.

Got mine from Mancini but that was 4-5 years ago......wasn't cheap that's for sure

sorry i didn't make my self clear but i was after a battery topper not a complete battery as i went down the complete battery avenue before but because of transport and import rules it aint happening. This is what I'm after the lower picture. they are making the group 24 the top picture but not the group 27 for some reason

As far as I know, they never made a Group 27 topper, just the 24.

maybe a new avenue for one of the vendors producing group 27 battery toppers or whole empty battery shells so you can place a replaceable battery in it. I'm pretty sure they make Delco cases for the Chevy . I'll take two Mopar boxes if they reproduce them
