69 hemi charger spare tire color?

I'm not sure if the 15x6 steel spare wheel is black from the factory or body color?  I know the rims are painted body color on the car it's just the spare that I've gotten different views on.

Are you asking about a hemi only situation?  Or just about 15x6 steel wheels?

It's easy to understand getting different views.  --If only hemi cars came with 15x6 wheels this makes sense.

As for an answer that would close the question?  This is what true survivor cars are notably good for.  I'm sure answers will follow but like so many other questions like this --exceptions that were common will likely leave it open.

Steel wheels on the build sheet, all 5 in body colour.

Gotta believe the wheels were all body color, including the spare, if your Charger came with the poverty caps! I cannot say conclusively they were body color but it certainly would make sense.  My Charger came with the deluxe full wheel covers so all five of the wheels were black. I still have all five original steel wheels it was delivered with. They are date-coded early January if I remember correctly.

Ok. it's a 69 hemi charger 500.  Color T3. With 15x6 steel wheels with dog dish hubcaps. Now that would help on a correct answer maybe?

When originally ordered with steel wheels & dog dish caps, all 5 wheels were painted body color.....Hemi or not
