Anyone know where to get the correct Scat Pack decal for 1968?  I would like it to stick to the inside of the window instead of the outside.

I just talked with these guys and they only have the 6" decal, more for a drag car or back window.  I also found out that Chrysler is in the middle of a law suit for the word "scat" that they never registered.  So Performance Graphics is not making any more smaller decals for the qtr windows.

Still looking......

It was my understanding that the Scat Pak bee was first put on the quarter window glass in the 1970 model year Dodges.

The window bees were not used before the 1970 model year.

Here is what I have found for the different Scat Pack decals.  It looks like they existed starting in 1968 but maybe for the back window only?

Before the 1970 model year, the stickers were for the folks that joined the Scat Pack Club.

1970 cars are the first to have the window bees from the factories.

That's incorrect, A12 Superbees had the bee decal in the 1/4 window in mid 69.

I don't think most did - if any......they may have been owner added....'69 owners may have seen them on the 70 models and wanted them on their own car. I have 2 survivor 69-1/2 Bees.....one doesn't have them and the other does....but confirmed the owner added them. Here is a 69 pic....

Hmm interesting. i was always of the opinion they came like that. All the ones I've seen are always in the exact same spot, you'd think if they were added by owners they'd end up all over the window or there'd at least be a fair bit of variety in the position in that corner. Also, they are waterslide decals affixed from the inside in a hard to get spot, if the owners added them you'd expect to seesome crooked ones. botched ones etc, but they are all in the same spot, very unidormly applied, like they would do at the factory.

The backing paper is different for A, B & E bodies, so the stickers have different part numbers. The backing paper for each serves as the locating template, so you would really not have to not care much to mess one up.

That decal backing paper has very standard industry information on it. The top number is Chryslers part number. "38060" was American Decals number. That would be the file the master art was stored under so it could be retrieved on reorders. "CN-11-69" is a date code, while I am unsure what CN denotes, 11-69 means November 1969. Decal manufacturers would always include the month and year so if they got a bad batch of decal paper or ink, the whole lot could be easily recalled even if they got got mixed in with older batches.
