Which Brake Fluid

  69 charger with standard brakes whish brake fluid should I be using?  On top of the master cylinder it says  USE SAE 70

Are you starting fresh with the brakes? If so I would go with DOT 5 fluid, that way it won't dissolve paint if you spill or get a leak. Standard fluid is the DOT 3 which is probably what's in it if you are not starting from scratch.

    No, I just bought the car this way and when I looked at the master it said use SAE 70 so I dont know whats in it,,,,whats safe to use
