Looks like he's expecting something less than 3 grand.... still more than I'd pay for it.

QuoteI bumped the price on this up to discourage any use of Buy it Now and encourage use of Best Offer.

Pricing note: Old Cars Report (Price Guide) Magazine August 2010 issue notes #6 condition (parts car) value at $740 and #5 condition (in need of total restoration) at $2220.  As a Road Runner thats $1000/$2900.

I notice he is referencing an Old Cars and parts price guide from 2010. I wonder what the value is listed at in a price guide from 2016.

He could ask a million dollars if he wanted.  It means nothing without somebody paying it.

All it takes is one buyer to overpay for one car.  That would make all the BS listings prove worthwhile for the seller.

He wants you to make an offer...  so if you're interested make an offer.   :shruggy:   I don't think he's all that delusional.

Sorta like when I need something and the ebay ad has a best offer tab...   I put in a offer lower than the BIN price and see what happens.  Usually I get stuff for 25% off.

I agree. READ the listing and how this one is set up. He wants offers.
