What are people using for taillight housing bulb side paint/color?

I used a skylight tube from home depot. Its like regular duct work but its super shiny and you can cut it with a scissors even. I made a paper template of the bulb socket and trim/mold to fit.  Then I used 3M 2 sided tape on the sides to secure.  :scratchchin:

That seems to make sense. They look like they have paint on them from the factory.
