I recently purchased new wheels for my 69. I went with wheel vintiques steel Chrysler wheels with dog dish hub caps. They really aren't snapping onto the rim tight and I was wondering if anyone knew any tricks to make them snap on nicely or at least stay put. It feels like if I hit a good bump, I'm gonna lose a few of em. I was thinking maybe a small bead of silicone but wanna know what other options I have.. Thx!!!

I've got used caps and factory rims...one is a popper I've chased down the road! (So I took them off for now.  )

I've used masking tape on the little bumps to build them up before- it worked.

The bumps on the rim? I was thinking about using the double stick tape used for emblems on two spots per dog dish

Yeah, the bumps on the rim. I actually just wrapped the whole circle if I remember correctly.

I'm sure your idea will work also.
