That beauty was also recently in I believe April's issue of Hemming's Muscle Machines magazine.

Thank you for the recognition of my car.

I must say the headline in first article overdoes a bit.  The car purchase ultimately, indirectly, brought me some good financial luck as my wife and I decided to move out of Manhattan largely because I won the car in the auction.  She wanted to move out, I did not, but when I won an auction I told her I probably would not, and car storage is hard in Manhattan, I had no leverage left and we decided to move.  As a result we sold all of our stock options in a company in a price range of 42 to 48 /share.  Today, 15 years later, that stock is only $33/share and it went as low as $11 so the purchase did cause me some good fortune but not really sparing me from financial ruin!

I proofread the article but not the headline.

In any case, they had a lot of pictures with 36 in total and the photographer was there at the shop for 12 hours.  Hemmings, the second article was an afternoon of photos - and an indication they would probably leave my picture out of the article! Unfortunately, they did not.

Good story and a great looking ride! With it being so beautiful are you driving it much or are you worried it will get damaged?

I actually drive it a bit.  Drove about 600 miles last Fall in 10 weeks.  While it is in pristine condition pry of being a restomod (or any car for that matter) is the fun of driving it.  I do not drive it in the rain but do use it a bit.  Even drove it in rush hour traffic in New York City area.

That is awesome! It looks great and I love that you are driving it and enjoying it!

I drove it from Clifton, NJ to my house in Westchester county on a Friday afternoon over the George Washington around 4:45-5:00 on a Friday afternoon.  BQE is probably more than I would try during the week.

Jeff, gorgeous Charger, that color looks good on it, congrats!
