R/T or not, that is a great looking car !!! 

I remember my first 2nd generation Charger when I was 16, a 318 '68 Charger that I too decked out with R/T badging ( kept it a stripe-delete car at the time )... It was so much fun.....

Now, paint those rear side marker bezels white to match the stripe mister...

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! Just got my plates today and plan to drive it tomorrow when it's nice out. As many of you suggested, I'm now planning to leave the stripes on the car and just enjoy it 
The only change I'm making at the moment is a different steering wheel. I have a Grant steering wheel being delivered today and hopefully I can do the install tonight.

Nice car. Welcome to club. Just keep the strip there most people don't realize if it been on there for year your paint fades a little and you remove the strip and you will see it in the sun light. I use to detail cars and try to tell people all the time but you know how that works
