Well, looks like, by the grace of God, my family and I dodged a flooded-house bullet... We had close to15-20" Sunday night and the water rose SO fast...
The family took care of the house and I went outside and jacked up the Durango and Daytona. The Superbird was already off the ground on dollies. I loaded all important Superbird stuff into it... I live in the Northwest Harris County area, we got hit hard....

1. Daytona jacked up
2. Water rising
3. Water level when I just said all was out of my power now..
4. Durango R/T earlier in the day when the water was raising...

Woke up this morning after going to bed and woke up to this in the wee hours..... The water drained real well...

I've never owned anything but a MoPar. Can you say that?

Wow, that's close! It's good that you were able to prepare for it & that it didn't happen while you were away. Looks like a couple of your neighbors may have gotten wet garages.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Close call indeed.  So happy that you and family are safe and sound.  :2thumbs:

Just drop the Daytona off at my house.  I will keep it dry, it will give you more room to work on the bird and you already know were I live  :2thumbs:

I agree!
May want to make plans just in case this happens again!

Better yet, time to find a house on a hill before you have to try and sell one that has had a history of flood damage. Glad it all worked out.

Glad you made it out safely- any damage to the house?

I live in the same area and we were really lucky. No damage to the house or the garage.

I live in Houston, the Gulf Coast.... Not too many places I can run to. I live in the 500-year flood plain... This was totally unexpected....... It was a case where a front stalled right over Northwest Harris County.. There was no way to forecast 15 - 20 inches of rain in a 6 hour period........

I am in the Klein area close to that area and it was the most insane thunder/rain I've ever heard.

Very true we never get more than a swampy yard but this time was different.
