Folks.  I just got a dash frame and it has a vin tag of XS29V0G153743.   I thought this was really weird to get a junk dash with such a cool vin.  Anyone looking for this or know anything about this Vin tag.   V code RT chargers do not just disappear....do they? :icon_smile_question:

What color is the dash?  Does it have a reverse light?

WAG - around 50% of the factory 440 Six Pack '70 Charger R/Ts are dead and gone.

153743 is not registered in the 70 Charger Registry. I'll add it noting you have the dash. Can you send me a picture of the dash vin plate or better yet can you send me the plate itself to keep on file should the car pop up in the future?

Yeah, if not more. :'(
That tag a pretty cool find, though. :2thumbs:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Guess nobody's going to get to build a car around that one..   :2thumbs:

Where did you get the dash frame? You should contact the seller and find out. Perhaps you can track it back and find some history?

Very possible the car is still out there, missing it's VIN.

That is my point. Plus ensure no fake 6 pack gets built.

Technically it wouldn't be a fake 6 pack if that Vin was used as it was a real car just only .01 percent would be original lol. A fake car is a made up Vin that never existed

True that, the VIN is the car. You could glue that tag to a coke can and go register it.  :icon_smile_big:

It was on a black ralley dash frame that I am using for a 68 Coronet Project.  It is a 70 dash, had the correct rosette rivets and the tag is not a fake.  It is the real deal.  I was astonished when I saw it and the guy I got if from is clueless!  He is a low information dodge guy that had some mopar parts in a junk yard, field , trailer, house, barn, bath tub, and i think in his bed...ect....But I just needed a ralley dash and he had one...  I would hate to see a total fake built, but also would hate for this VIN to die... What should I do?

Provide it to the 70 Charger Registry. That is why it exists.

You need a 68 charger dash to fit a rallye dash in your 68 coronet. I'll do some swapping with you. I could use a 70 for a spare. Do you need a AC or non AC dash? Send the tag off to the 70 charger registry. Be sure and cut the rivetsoff from the back side
