So, I'm watching Gone in 60 Seconds - the original - and there's a split second about 59 minutes into the movie, where there's a 68 sitting in a parking lot.  They race around it, and I'm thinking, wait, that could be *my* car!  This part of the chase is apparently in Long Beach, CA, and if I remember correctly, the original owner of my Dodge was from Long Beach.  Same color, black vinyl top - which I didn't choose to restore BTW.  Could it be?  We'll never know...

What I don't get is how an independent/guerrilla filmmaker can afford to wreck so many cars.  From the inflation calc:  What cost $3000 in 1974 would cost $12472.88 in 2005.  I guess even a crap car today costs at least that much.  Let's say you wreck  100 cars @ $10,000.  That's a million bucks.

Toby Halicki rocks, except for the parts where he destroys Mopars, of course!

I won't be wronged, I wont be Insulted and I wont be laid a hand on. I don't do these things to others, and I require the same from them.
