Fiberglass Six Pack Hood on 1971 Charger (Like it...or hate it?)

Just finished painting and installing my fiberglass six pack hood. I love it but the wife hates it! I put several weekends sanding, fixing cracks, painting ect and it turned out very nice. I used the black Organsol paint from Year One and the repro hood pin kit with pop rivets. What do you guys think?

I think it looks awesome.  You can always get a new wife  . But really though, looks good.

That looks great, how much time did you have in it? I was thinking of doing the same as I always liked the blacked out 6 pack hoods.

You know...that really looks every bit as good as a bulge hood. I just might have to do that to mine if I don't find a bulge hood.

I like, but I better like original rammed hoods ( who doesn't ? )...

Only stuff what I don't like is you got cut strip R/T decals because the black hood.

did you replace also the hinges ?

71 Charger R/T I saw at Monster Mopar in St. Louis with I believe a six pack scoop, but on bulge hood(?):

Here is one more view.The fiberglass hood uses the stock hinge with the spring removed in the rear and the front is held down by the hood pins.

I'm also taking the front and back moulding off the original hood and installing onto the fiberglass hood. The "Six Pack" decals will go on the scoop just like the old A12 Bee's and Road Runner's....as soon as the carbs and manifold are installed.

My part Charger has a 74 Bulge Hood that the previous owner cut a hole in the top for what seems to be a Super Bee insert. I was wondering how a 6pack scoop would look on a bulge hood and I think I may use that hood for this. I too would like a Ramcharger hood or superbee hood but the costs to get one could be spent on other Charger things.
