This may be a good one for those that already have the Stealth Heads(or Eddy/Sidewinder etc.), just to showcase what they can deliver if re-worked "cost effectively".
I say that... because compared to starting fresh in acquiring the new TF240's and the costs therein going NEW again.... well, if you already have the Stealth's, etc.  ... my point being, don't go offing them just yet ?
That was part of the dilema on this build for the customer, yes, the TF240's are better ootb ? but how much does a guy really NEED ?

1974 400 B Block
440 Source Rotating Assembly
"used" Stealth Cylinder Heads: * Full Street Porting
                                  * Street/Strip Seat Angles & Prep
                                  * Upgraded 924 Comp V/Springs & 10* Locks
CompCams XE282S Flat Tappet Solid Cam
CompCams EDM Lifters
Hughes 1.6 Rockers
Manton 5/16" Cut to Fit Pushrods
Torker 383 Intake Manifold(Port matched)
Q850 Mech Carb
6 Qt HEMI Style Oil Pan, 3/8" Pickup
MSD Dizzy / Wires
ARP Main Studs
Block Machine Pkg. (Block and Heads were Milled during machining to "set" static Compression Ratio to 10.7:1)

Recorded on our new SuperFlow SF750 Bench, CFM @ 28" H20, 26.88 Baro Pres, Clay Inlet Radius, Open Exhaust(no pipe)
Reworked Stealth Flow:
     .214" Intake  /   1.81" Exhaust
.100"     72.8             64.2
.200"   144.1           123.5
.250"   169.8           140.1
.300"   205.9           159.7
.350"   232.2           173.4
.400"   258.1           188.1
.450"   270.9           198.6
.500"   285.1           207.2
.550"   292.2           214.0
.600"   298.9           221.8

As can be seen from the above, this is NOT some killer investment of Money to Porting/Prep time !
Just a very prudent 10 Hr Porting & 4 Hr Rebuild time in the used Stealths(no guides replaced)
We can, and have obviously ported the Stealth's up into the 320+ cfm range with more work, but the time & expense is prohibitive and just NOT NEEDED.... nor recommended... for this type build or power level ? Which we feel is plenty for even the most ardent "Street" affectionado.
My point being....
this is just to showcase those that already have them, what the lower priced Stealth's or Eddy's etc.,can still deliver power-wise on budget oriented(Flat Tappet Cam) Engine builds within "cost effective" re-work parameters.

NOT knocking the TF240's... GREAT HEADS !
just say'in,
the world ain't over just because you already bought the others before !

Really impressive. Just feel badly that this is just languishing here with no more comments as this is a very effective build.

Challenger340

Comments are no matter, as long a few who do see it realize, and can pass along, that the Stealth's / Eddy's / Sidewinder's are still a viable option for those that already have them ?
just sayín...
as opposed to the price of new TF's, if you've already got the older gen stuff, for half the money some porting/freshening may be an option depending upon realistic HP @ rpm goals.

Definitely noticed,....noted,.....saved,.....cataloged,.....archived,.....absolute dream motor. And at 5500 rpm?, jeeez!

I think what is most important here is the reiteration of how important head flow is, especially in the lower lift ranges. Those flow numbers showcase the power and choice of cam compliments it superbly.

Absolutely true.

I have preached this a hundred times. If you already own Edelbrock RPM heads (or similar) and your goal is 700-750 horsepower, the well ported RPM heads will get it done.

Do I know that for sure? Yep, as you know, I have a 451 that has made 786.9 HP on 91 octane pump gas with RPM heads.
