Did Dodge and Plymouth use the same door and frame on 1970 and 71 air grabber/ram air hoods?
I have a door and frame from a 70 RR air grabber hood and a 71 super Bee hood and was wanting to add the 70 door to the SB hood. Of course I would need to infill the opening for the insert to fit the frame and door.

Hi Mike

If you're talking about the actual air door NO, they are different on the 70 RR to the 71/72 RR. the '72 has a little point where as the '70 is a nice rectangle but, I noticed you're wanting to put it on a super bee, it's the same as a 71/72 ramcharger hood so you're fine...BUT that opening is HUGE it will be VERY difficult or expensive to fill it and make it work. I'd strongly suggest buying/trading a power bulge hood and work with that instead.

Note, as I'm finding out with my Ramcharger conversion this is NOT for those with small wallets, all those little odd and ends are EXPENSIVE!!!!

Thanks for the reply AK. I was thinking the Ram Air air door from a 70 RR  was the same or very close as the 71-2 Charger Ramcharger  air hood door. I knew the 71 -2 RR door was different. At one time I had a 74 power bulge hood with a big hole cut into it that I might be able to get back. The SB hood is in good shape and if I did do this I would make a removable filler for the opening. Have most of the little pieces needed . I'll try to post pictures after I figure out how to load pictures in my new laptop with windows 10.
