FYI. Ordered kit on a Monday got it that Wednesday. Everything went together as supposed to, instructions were good and kit complete, works as supposed to and went in in 4 hrs.

Do you have any pictures? I ordered a kit last week. AFAIK, it hasn't shipped yet but should any day now.

Test drive?

pictures, well I can put a car together, run a heavy construction business, overhaul a Harley, build a house, almost anything else BUT I HAVE TRIED AND TRIED TO POST PICTURES AND DAMNED IF I CAN GET IT TO WORK!. But, did test drive it, and went from poor brakes, mostly because of low vacumn at idle, to almost too touchy, a lot less feel. But, I will be able to stop when some blue hair runs a stop sign or a deer pops out of a ditch. They advertise they take tech calls 11 am to 10 pm, and he answered at 5:00 in the afternoon on a saturday

Less feel?

I would also hazard to say that the touchiness is how modern cars feel like.  I can't even drive the girlfriend's 2016 Nissan; if I even look at the brake pedal the car nosedives on me.

Oh and photobucket.com for photos, brother...

"almost too touchy", Yep, did the same thing with a '68 coronet with wilwoods all around. They feel touchy but are just that much more power. I got a kit that you can put in the back of the pump where the high pressure hose connects. It's small shims that turn down the pressure. There are enough to turn it down too much but a little bit helps a lot. Also learned to use little toe on pedal.

fizz

I would guess that also reduces power steering pressure, which is about right on my car? I wonder if there is a way to affect brakes only? And, ya, nose dive if you aren't paying attention

Yes, it will reduce pressure to the box. But it's adjustable by how many shims you out in. A little bit will firm the steering and back off the brakes a little. all depends what's good for you.

Dino

Now that's interesting. I planned on adding shims to the steering box but then shelved the idea to allow the hydrobooster to get full pressure. With 13" rotors maybe it'll be a good idea to shim the box after all and have my cake and eat it.   :scratchchin:
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

I did receive an update on my kit. Master cylinder was back ordered so it should be shipping out this week, hopefully Wednesday if all goes as planned.

We run Talon.  Not touchy what's so ever.  You need to make sure you are running the correct master cylinder with the application.  Understand it is a good idea to run a slightly larger bore master cylinder with these high pressure systems.  We run an 1 1/8" bore with our setup.....

If it is touchy, you are most likely running to small master bore.

I eliminated the touchiness when I adjusted the proportioning valve more to the rear.
