Sold it to a guy in Holland about 6-7 years ago.

69 R/T SE NOM 440, automatic,  Light Green Dark green interior. Magnum 500s white tail stripe and R/T stripe delete badges. No Fender Tag.

The guy was an Exec. at a high end Dog Food company, I think.

Not feeling remorseful.

I've had a chance to keep this car, and the 426 hemi Challenger Vert clone, I sold them both because my 68 is a problem free car, all original with no issues. Also I owned all three of these cars at one time. It was not fun trying to keep them all up and never had time to drive more than one at a time.

I'm still happy with my decision.

I wonder if at some point some cars will come back home to the US?

alfaitalia

I hope not......I'm finding it hard enough to find them at all....let alone one I would want to buy! If you start getting them back, us Euro types will have even less to buy! LOL! Your have hundreds (thousands?) of them lurking in barns being found on a regular basis for you to buy/restore. We only want a few!....and we get ripped of on the prices even more than you!
If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you !!

socalcharger

well if the dollar keeps getting stronger that may be a possibilty.

Are you also looking outside the United Kingdom?
Once in a while there's one for sale on www.mopar.nl   or on  www.kapaza.be

alfaitalia

Dont count on  it. We're happy to have some of them over here.
Greetings from Belgium, the beer country

NOS is nice, turbo's are neat, but when it comes to Mopars, there's no need to cheat...

It would be cool if there were --Chargers R-US-- stores as go to places to find them.

As it is--Is not the hunt part of the fun?

Some might feel the prices asked are what make them hard to find.--- :scratchchin:   The high value of something just adds to the appeal.
This is a great example of how free market works out for all.

Speculators tend to elevate overall prices which are fed by demand.  This equals current values. :shruggy:

It is kinda odd to hear a statement like "they just aren't out there".  They indeed are and in large numbers.  (A matter of perspective). This is because demand is high.

Not affording a charger is not the same as not finding one.

If demand was low there would be --fewer-- to find and the prices of those few would be lower.
