So today I find out that my new crank (Eagle 21203 rotating assembly) requires an 8 bolt flywheel for the dyno run (starter)
So I am digging one up now. However the question I have is, I am putting the 727 behind it. Do I need an 8 bolt flexplate?

Yep. B&M makes one (8 bolt crank) that is drilled for the 10.5 and 11 inch converter bolt pattern.

I bought the B&M flexplate but it is only drilled for 10" coverters. If they do make one for an 11", do you have a part#. By the way, if you need a brand new 8 bolt B&M, I've got one that I bought 2 months ago. It's SFI too. 1/2 Summit/Jegs price plus shipping. Can send you pics. ... Eric.

Well I dont know. Maybe they are not made anymore? I have an 8 bolt crank in my motor and the flexplate I installed looked identical to this one, except it is for the 8 bolt crank.

The only current B&M 8-bolt offering has the single 10" bolt circle.

Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

I have this converter

I think that B&M will work? https://www.summitracing.com/parts/bmm-10231/recommendedparts
Eric, what is the SFI date on yours? Should be a sticker..

Any converter smaller than 12" will have the 10" bolt circle.

Sorry, I may have jumped the gun on selling the flexplate. Might have to mod my converter instead. Mezier is checking into a custom plate for me right now. If they can't make one I'll have to get the converter worked on and keep my B&M plate. :brickwall:
