74 door latches

i have been having an issue with my passenger side door latch.  when i first bought the charger, the passenger door wouldn't open.  the door latch was seized.  i found another door latch from someone on this site, replaced it, and it worked for a few months and then same issue.  took it off, sprayed the heck out of it with pb blaster,and it worked again for a month or two.  now, once again,same issue.  does anyone know if there are any aftermarket latches that will work on a 74 charger.  i'm not concerned with OEM parts as this charger is anything but original.  I would actually like to shave the locks and have a key fob set up.  Has anyone done something like this to help guide me?
