I'll use blue Loctite 242 on the cam bolt and oil on the head bolts. Do I need any type of Loctite anywhere else? Oil pan or timing cover maybe?

I use it on the oil pan bolts, if not they get loose.

I should probably do the same to the timing cover bolts then?

I guess water pump bolts and such just need some oil? Heck I can do Loctite on all of them if needed!

no loctite on the other bolts.

I like to use Loctite on the Tq converter bolts  :2thumbs:

For the waterpump housing bolts that go into the water jacket I use Ultra Copper RTV  :yesnod:

Intake manifold and exhaust manifold bolts also get the "Copper treatment"  :icon_smile_big:

Oh good point! Do I use the blue loctite on the tq converter bolts as well?

I did plan on using ultra copper on those other bolts. I learned that lesson the hard way!
