I had one on my duster- not sure the differences (if any) but you can just go grab one for like a 1980's dakota (318) at  your local parts place.

When I bolted up one of those shields My flex plate bolts scraped it.   :shruggy:

Sounded awesome... no shield now.

I'm pretty sure that I went with the DB Electrical. With headers, starters aren't exactly an easy swap so I went with whatever got the overwhelming recommendation. Like crj1968, I skipped the shield as well.

We used the DB.  No shield, an excellent fit.  For $10 more I would go with the DB.

I've a DB, works fine. I bought Ricks shield but couldn't get it to fit?  :shruggy: There is only a few very small gaps it would have covered anyway so it sits in my parts cabinet.
