I just posted this in the for sale section.  I'm curious though.  What is this worth with the front end damage? The firewall and rad support doesn't seem to be bent up.  I am guessing $12,500-$15,000 if there is no frame damage.  The rest of the car would need to be 100% rust and dent free for me to give those figures though... :scratchchin:

And I'll go ahead and say thanks in advance to Tan Top for posting the pictures.....I'm sure he will be here pretty quick!  :coolgleamA:  :2thumbs:

I love it where it reads "Super Rare".

What's so super rare about it? It's not an R/T, NON 4 speed, no power windows, green car, column shift, no tic toc tac.

Don't get me wrong seems like it was a nice Charger before the accident, but "Super Rare" I think not.

Wrong pie tin BTW.

I'd be a little lower for the reasons you stated. $10K- $13K.

They probably think their wreck is worth $25,000....but who knows!  Maybe I need to call and ask about it.   :scratchchin:  I think it would be a good project.  A quick order to AMD and classic industries and you can hit the road.

Ouch.

It has power disc brakes and he still plowed into something pretty hard.  Bent the steering wheel too.

The vent window frames appear to fit right against the A-pillars, though.  And no obvious buckling in the quarters.  Those are good signs for the rest of the unibody's straightness.

Mytur Binsdirti

What a damn shame. Not the body damage, the green interior.

Drive it as is to car shows. When you get there, be like man I just got hit on the way here. It would be a good conversation starter haha.

Don't be silly.  Now how often do you see them in that kind of condition?  Huh?

See there, now that makes it just not rare but SUPER RARE!!!

Why is there a picture of a floor mat, whos purchase of a wrecked 68 charger would be based on a floormat ????

BrianShaughnessy

That's at least a good $5K in parts between fenders, hood, grill support and repro grille, bumper and brackets.

Meh.

Seems like a solid car with $7k in collision damage scares more people away than a straight car needing $10-15k in rust repairs.

I'd much rather deal with a solid wreck.

AGREED. As long as the rust was properly addressed, a minor wreck is MUCH easier to work then a complete restoration

Wow - sorry to see that --  that car belongs to our local mopar club VP - I am in MD and not CA but i wonder what happened there.    I know the car is pretty solid with no rust at all. There are a few things wrong here and there but overall a solid car. Grills are reproduced, front fenders, hood, etc -  everything you need is reproduced.
