This annoys me, 'creative' Ebay ads. 68 RT 6 Pack Charger.......

What's this thing worth anyway? Regardless of the creative Ebay listing it doesn't look too bad.....does it?

Its a pity he appears to have taken the photo's with a shoe, or maybe a calculator, but as I am thinking about getting a 68 Charger soonish I'd like peoples opinion on it.

Car doesn't look too horrible in those small pictures, but then again just about anything looks good in small pictures. Not much in the description and no detail pictures (original or replacement sheetmetal, rot, dents, etc).


The car has been on fleabay a couple times already. If I had to guess, I'd be willing to bet that it looks better in pictures than in person. Personally, I hate those dopey tailpipes...

Although the seller does mention quote "This is an original 383 car" towards the end of the description, he/she appears to be sneaky about it and not mentioning that it's NOT an original R/T Charger leaving it up to the buyer to know what they're really bidding on. So probably some sucker is going to overpay for this beast. Nice car BTW.

Besides that, the owner states that it's a Rare car. I'd like to hear his definition of "Rare". How could it be rare? A 383 car originally, now with a 440 and badged as an R/T.    I find this ad and so many others like it very annoying! Some people will say or suggest anything to make a sale.
