WOW.. that really is a rare Charger and certainly worth saving.  I hope someone on this board buys it so we can all follow along.

Mytur Binsdirti

I easily see 60-70 grand going into that car to bring it back. Non-matching numbers and no broadcast sheet......what's it worth done?

billssuperbird

It looks like it had a Daytona wing on it at one time.  :drool5:

Just 6T9 CHGR

Mmmm   V21 and a hole in the roof (now more than one hole though :rotz: )

Perhaps if one has the ability to do body work themselves and save 15+ grand, I can agree with that figure, but since I don't do bodywork myself, I'm sticking to the original figure.   :icon_smile_big:

Assuming that the car can be bought for 20 and you put 50 into it, is it worth 70?

This one will be a labor of love, you wouldn't understand.   :pity:

billssuperbird

It also had the word Daytona on the quarter panel :2thumbs:

Oh, I do understand what a labor of love is, but love can be blind. I'm (slightly) smarter than that these days.   ;)

Challenger340

Pretty damn rare car for sure !

R/T SE and "sunroof" ? almost the frigg'in "Holy Grail" IMO ?
That said,
NON #'s, NO B-Sheet, and a repop Fender Tag with the restoration costs ?

OUCH !
Only wimps wear Bowties !

No, I mean, I passed on the South Dakota "Crazy Horse R/T Sunroof NOM Charger" back in 1998ish, I think. It was $18k, as it still sits  in the same condition today.

So this one done, and I am being generous, would be a $50k car restored.

Forget the big AZ auctions. I buy my cars at prices which even keep my wife happy.  :Two cents: I think others like to overpay.
