Among other things.  I can't wait for the video that has him launching properly and winding that thing out; that car was hardly breathing...

Baldwinvette77

Awesome!!! But too bad the modern charger didn't have a Speaker deck camara, it would have been nicer to see yours

Moparpoolman

I'm confused, Is the car for sale? Is 1974dodgecharger the owner or driver or both.  From this link sounds like saw it at the drags and neither?

after the race we talked a bit and he was shocked that he won....he said, 'man when you doing your burn out all I could hear in my car was your blower whine'  :smilielol:  then I beat you and I was so HAPPY!!!  Then he watched the taped and said, 'damn it I didn't beat you fair and square you missed 3rd!!!!'...

I told him he beat me fair and square no ifs and or butts about it.... a win is a win  :2thumbs:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

A run down the drag strip looks easy..... from the stands. There is a lot going on at the starting line. The launch by itself is trial and error before you find out what works best, and the 2-3 shift is a bear to get right. You did great John. I am surprised you didnt make more passes. I dont know how you resisted?  I know, I know, she was your ride home. :yesnod:

Should have I been slower or faster? Thats 15 degrees of timing taken off also.....

BSB67

The video is very cool.

If you want a real, no BS evaluation of the car's potential as is, post the time slip.  What track, what day, and what time?

Faster. I can take 15° out of my wore out 383 and run that et and trap speed.... the math doesnt add up even if the density altitude was 2000 ft.... so i sit here and  :scratchchin:

1974dodgecharger

I'll see if I can find it....I personally don't care may have thrown it away.  Like I said before everything against me.....spinning bald tires, timing taken out, etc....my car is not a drag car, but a street.

I'm sure u guys can drive better in my own car on the track....... :icon_smile_big:

Still can't figure what u r guys saying not adding up?

Should it be slower or faster? Based on time......

Secret drag code talk?

BSB67

I'm not saying anything about it adding up.  It is, what it is.   Looking at the time slip is not assessing what it should run, but is an analysis of the data and estimating what you could realistically run, as is.

Did you blow the engine at the track?   Sorry to see that your selling it....  You just put a lot of time and money in the car!
