brand x HELP

1994 GMC Yukon , now runs like crap. It's gotten progressively worse over the last week or two. Just timed it weekend before last when I changed plugs ,wires ,cap, rotor. It's been starting worse and worse too. So I check timing tonight and it's like 55* advanced. You have to disconnect a wire under the glove box before setting. So I reset it ,finally got it to idle, still has a slight miss ,real "soft" , I could live with it at this point. Plug the wire back in and I can't give it any gas without it popping and sputtering. Can't get it in the garage right now got grandkids mini bikes in there (these are turning into a nightmare also)and it's starting to get dark. I will pull the cap tomorrow before anything else. Ideas? Thoughts? Good news? Hoping it is not computer. Thanks ,if it's got ti_s or wheels......

no light. Will check for codes though. Bad thought , timing chain???

Came home , pulled distributor , piece blue arrow is pointing to turns independently from shaft. Looking for a new dist.
