Did any one see the episode when they did 1970 black Dodge Charger

Charger-Bodie

68 Charger R/t white with black v/t and red tailstripe. 440 4 speed ,black interior
68 383 auto with a/c and power windows. Now 440 4 speed jj1 gold black interior .
My Charger is a hybrid car, it burns gas and rubber............

moparfan53

Yes I did, but has been quite a while. Just curious... why are you asking?

68RT440

I remember that one...they put a Dixie "hooter" on it lol
1968 Charger R/T, matching numbers 440/727, black with green top and interior, currently getting restored by me

That is the first time I saw it

Kern Dog

That episode was on today. Edd is a pretty cool guy. His messy hair and accent cracks me up. The owner though....Can a car guy really be that queer? He also seems like a decent guy but is so effiminate! Maybe that is the British way ??

In my opinion, your opinion is shit. They didn't do much to the car other than fix a few mechanical problems. Stuff was broken, they replaced some parts, what is there to criticize? Why be an asshole about it ?

What they do really depends on what the car needs to be sellable. It is no different than what used cars lots across America do EVERYDAY.. I find the show fascinating and both Mike and Edd are playing their parts in grand English fashion. My wife hates all my shows, but likes watching Wheeler Dealers, that alone makes it a winner.
1970 Dodge Charger R/T.. Owned since 1981

68Charger4me

I like the show because they show the work being done to the car, not alot of horseplay BS !!

Dino

My favorite car show by far, I rarely watch any of the others.   :2thumbs:
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

marshallfry01

His accent gets on my nerves.
1969 Charger 383/auto
1969 Charger R/T 440/auto (waiting to be restored)
1972 Chevelle SS clone 383 sbc
1959 Chevy Apache short bed stepside
1968 Charger (glorified parts car)
Yes, I know I have too many cars. My wife reminds me daily.

Exactly!!!! :iagree:  They show what they actually do.
70 Dodge Charger 500
70 Duster (Moulin Rouge)
73 Challenger
50 Dodge Pilot House

JB400

One of the better shows on Velocity.  At least it sort of gives you encouragement fix up your own stuff.  They're on to show you how to fix your own stuff, not sell someone else's new products.

OldGuy

383 ci with a 4 speed ... ran 17's and 18's...don't know what rear gears it had.
"I can tell by your sarcastic undertones, rude comments and total lack of common decency, that you and I could be best friends".

Kern Dog

Those drag times were terrible. They remind me of the "Desert Car Kings" episode where they had a bondo Charger that ran similar times.

that's the one I was trying to remember ,bright green  and a bodged up vinyl roof   :scratchchin:

This one.
"Dear God, my prayer for 2024 is a fat bank account and a thin body. Please don't mix these up like you did the last ten years."

Kern Dog

How about that negative camber !

71ChargerMike

Dallas Car Sharks did a 71 Charger recently. Looked good for the most part, they used modern charger wheels and it was a terrible idea. At least I know not to go that route like I was thinking about doing.
