I pulled the old cam out of the 440 today. It has this stamped into the end: 891598

I can't find any info on it, anyone have any ideas as to what this is?

Most likely that number just identifies the blank cam core. In the absence of any other numbers you'll have to measure the actual duration and lift. (v-blocks, degree wheel, dial indicator)

I should've done that while it was still installed then. I assumed there would be a part number on it but apart from the one I listed and some short cast numbers there's none. Bummer, I would've liked to know what it was.
