Got dragged downtown to attend with the 12-year old and his mom. It struck me that the number of cars being presented has gone down somewhat from last year. It also seemed like about 85% of the folks there couldn't begin to afford anything on the floor (I'm obviously getting to be quite the crotchety old fossil!).  Nothing there that really rolled my socks down (Well....there was a decent 440 automatic Superbird on display).  The only thing that remotely interested me was, of course, the Hellcat Challenger. Where are things with these cars of late? How does one actually go about buying one?  Just walk into a Dodge dealer and say "I want one"? I know that they had been on backorder for some time and that many dealers were charging huge premiums over sticker. Is that that still the case?  The $50K number gets bandied about with some regularity, is that really accurate? I'm more curious than serious here, but if my lottery ticket ever wins.......(if I ever buy one).

International auto show? I've been to a couple. Like you I thought it was a bit boring.
Technology; touch screen....technology; hands free...technology; it drives itself, cameras, beeps blips, navigation....I can appreciate the nerd-work, but yawn.

The Denver Wold of Wheels used to be pretty cool though....but that was a lifetime ago.
