drop in tacho

 hi  got a "drop in tacho "  from vans to replace the clock in the SE ,what wiring mods /additions do I have to make

There is a lead from the coil to the tach and it runs through the firewall on its own with a grommet in the earlier Chargers.  I'm not sure if the 3rd gens are the same.

Yeah, there will be a wire to the coil and a power with key on wire. The clocks power wire is always hot.

There's a repro tach harness available, but you can make up your own fairly easily.
