Question on interior rear window trim.

My 70 Charger is missing the interior rear window trim.  I found a kit online, but can only find it in black.  I have a white interior.  I was wondering if that trim is black on all cars regardless of interior color, or should I be figuring on painting those white for an original look? Perhaps someone with a white interior can take a pic of their interior rear window and post it for reference (thanks in advance).

Should be white , with white

Be sure to spray it gray first, two coats. This way the white will take less paint to cover and match.

The repro trim is only offered in black, use SEM Super white, it matches the 70 interior perfectly, after coating the black trim with 3 light coats of SEM, 10 minutes flash time between coats, cover it with SEM low lustre clear, looks natural, protects the white, easier to clean without worry of damaging the spray dye

Here's my 70 Charger interior, various black panels/trim dyed with SEM, going on 12 years looks like day one, no issues
