Pat1973charger

Haha wouldn't that speed things up a bit.....could get me back some of my life . ::)

E5 Charger

That's amazing! But so is the price, $480,000 for the one in the youtube. I read there is a cheap one for $80,000. I wonder if one day there is one sitting next to an antique sandblaster in everyone's garage?

In that video he's "blasting" a thick piece of metal. I wonder how much heat it will bring into sheet metal and if it will warp it.

Humm, $480,000 well maybe If all of us rot repairers go splits on one it would be reasonable  :shruggy:

I found this on the web.
Lasertronics' closed-loop control ensures that the substrate remains untouched. There is no physical, structural, or chemical change. This protective capability enabled the FAA to approve the process for stripping paint off delicate aircraft skins. All the laser energy is absorbed in the surface layer of paint or corrosion. Concentrated laser energy focused into the corrosion causes it to quickly pop off the substrate. The corrosion and any coating material is captured by a purge air system, and sequestered in a HEPA filter for easy, cheap disposal.  No contaminated chemicals or media.

I want one!  :drool5:

Sounds like the perfect tool to have,  except for the price.
