What clutch to put in a 1968 charger with a 440. Intake, mild cam,headers.

Back alley performance

Well, basically that's the question.   Basically stock with a couple add ons.  3.54 gears.  Right now it chatters and shakes so bad that you think the dash is gonna fall apart. 

Just looking for a decent priced replacement  but I'm unsure what to buy.

I put an 11" Hayes Street / Strip in mine back in '80. Still in there. I'll be either cleaning it up or replacing it with same.

Clutch disc part number is 40 205 as I kept the tab off the box in the glove box the past 36 years. Not sure the complete kit number... but it is still available.

As for the shake... have a good look at your tranny mount. Mine was doing that when I moved it to the garage for tear down for restoration. I found the rubber mount in the cross member was just sitting in there loose as the bolt was broken off.
