I have (2) 2010  Dodge Chargers that are ex-highway patrol with 140K on them.   These cars were used and abused driven at 150 MPH (to catch up to you) and over all kinds of terrine from rural dirt roads to windy roads where the suspension is abused(but repaired, usually multiple times).   I posted this question of deep front end clunks when driving at low speeds up to 40MPH.  I did not get any reply's :brickwall:.
This is the problem.  While HP garages take well care of these cars by making sure they are solid by usually changing all  ti-rod,  ball joints ect  they usually do not care that much about any clunking noise.  What I found is that the "SWAY BAR BUSHINGS" are never replaced,  so when they wear out they make the deep metal to metal clunk when you drive over manhole covers or any small divits in the road.   It is a $10 part that will fix this problem (for the do it your self person).   So, if you start to here clunks in your Charger with high miles and you changed all your ball joints  sway bar links (that are also a known problems) this most likely is your problem.  I Hope this helps someone...  took me 2 months to figure this out by myself.
