In all my days of mechaniking, I can't remember ever seeing one.  But it might be a function of the age and America, where all we do now is buy a rebuilt one and swap the tired one.  No one rebuilds starters (or even puts the brushes in them anymore) or alternators/generators either.  Post if you find a source cause I would be interested in getting a kit also -- I also need a kit for my original starter.  Good luck, Kim.

yep most of us just find a shop  in the area that rebuilds them about as much as it would cost to do it your self.

Remember to get a new bushing that sits in the block because if the distributor is wore out I bet that bushing is as well.

no starters rebuild kits up there ? damn... here you can find all sizes bushings. In fact my starter motor has new bushing, brushes etc... new everything but housings. I have another starter motor waiting for rebuilt, just rotor damaged.

In fact the dist bushing is same size than GM starter bushing on outer diameter and lenght, the problem is inner diammeter what is a little bit smaller. I made a inner milldown with a dremell and works fine, with reluctor saving from be biting by pick up, but is a homemade job maybe in fact it could eb out of the perfect center and I wanted to get better bushing without anykind of job.

On Mopar parts catalog it appears a kit part number for collar, pin and washer attached on to shaft.
