Sad saturday...

My first cousin's grandson was diagnosed with a brain tumor about a year and a half ago if i'm guessing correctly. After a year of treatment's they thought he was cancer free only to be back in the hospital a month later with more problems. It had returned and was in his spinal cord somehow. After a few more months of treatment and test's it was confirmed that it was pretty much all over him and nothing could be done. He was only 4 yrs old and lost his battle today after fighting for a year and a half.  He was well loved while he was here for his short time and couldn't have had better family and friends supporting him. Just a sad day today and to anybody dealing with this same thing my prayers go out to you!

I feel bad for you and your kin.  I wish them serenity knowing his battle is over, however short it may have been.  No kid should have to suffer cancer.  Adults...most of us have earned a little cancer one way or another, but not children. 
Its too bad they couldn't treat it more effectively and give him more time, but brain cancer is rarely cured.  At least from what I've heard.  I've got cancer in prostate,  backbone, hip, and liver, but I've already lived 2 years since diagnosis, and figure I have at least another year to go.  My condolences to your family. No one should outlive their children, that is such a hard thing to deal with.  My family never really recovered after my younger brother lost his battle with Leukemia 4 years ago.  Now I just try to outlive my parents if I can.

Thank's for the replies, Warlock I hate that you are dealing with this too. This is such a rough subject to discuss and I wish the best for anybody directly dealing with this or has someone close that is dealing with this.

Godspeed to the little lad.  For all involved it's a miserable deal all around and I wish everyone well as they deal with the emotion and everything else that they'll be going through. It's tough row to hoe.

As I told on here, just shortly after I joined last summer, we lost our middle child to Ewing's Sarcoma back in August. Why I have my head buried in my old B bodies to keep me partially sane.

Thank's for all the positive post's fellow charger guru's!! It's been a rough week but the funeral went well and was very heartfelt. He will be missed by all!!
